Seasoned campus security leader Craig Stone has been named Associate Vice President and Chief of Campus Safety and Emergency Management Services at Syracuse University.

Marquette University will institute new safety measures to protect the college community, including upped access control, campus police officers and more security initiatives.

Campus police at the Alabama-based public university, have deployed Omnilert, which gives students the ability to speak or chat with an on-campus police officer directly. 

The University of Chicago Police Department was re-accredited with Advanced Law Enforcement Accreditation by the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies, Inc. (CALEA). 

The police department of Rhode Island College is now one of 30-plus accredited police agencies in Rhode Island.

Stephen F. Austin (SFA) State University Police Department recently received accreditation from the International Association of Campus Law Enforcement Administrators.

Laura Bennett has become Columbus State University's first woman police chief.

The University of Rhode Island named University Police Major Michael A. Jagoda as Director of Public Safety and Chief of Police.
