Bonnie Michelman, the recipient of the 2021 SIA Insightful Practitioner Award, is the executive director of police, security and outside services at Massachusetts General Hospital (Mass General) and for Mass General Brigham Corporation. She also serves as the board president of the International Association for Healthcare Security and Safety (IAHSS) Foundation and has held a wide variety of leadership roles in the security industry.
