Philadelphia is adding gun detection to its public transportation security measures to protect buses, subways and other forms of mass transit.

Bus security camera feeds in Albuquerque, New Mexico will be connected to law enforcement for live surveillance monitoring on the transit system.

The Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority will place video surveillance screens in 22 buses on the X2 bus line.
