USPS plans to better protect employees and prevent mail theft. USPS workers can be the target of crime as they have access to a variety of buildings.

Security leaders have to be prepared for mail-based threats and doxxing, posting someone's address online, that may target public figures.  

Requiring background checks on mid-employment workers is legal, but that doesn't mean it's uncomplicated.
