The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has provided over $150 million in aid to Hurricane Ian survivors in Florida.

The Port of New Orleans will upgrade its Maritime Security Operations Center (MSOC) with over $500,000 in port security funds from FEMA.

FEMA announced $10 million in competitive awards for its Fiscal Year (FY) 2019 Regional Catastrophic Preparedness Grant Program (RCPGP) to eight local governments to assist in developing innovative regional solutions to issues related to catastrophic incidents.

FEMA funding and donations will provide the $3.1 million needed to build a safe room for Victoria County during natural disasters.
