Who did you meet at ASIS International last week? Between the editors, publisher and sales department of Security magazine, we walked the show floor a hundred times over and probably still didn’t get to everyone. But, just to be thorough, here’s the rundown of who I met at ASIS, and what we’re looking forward to for the rest of the year.
This week members of the OSAC leadership and RISC teams again found themselves on the road. They converged on Philadelphia together with thousands other security-focused professionals for the 58th Annual ASIS International Seminar. David Schnorbus, Executive Director; Peter Ford, Deputy-Executive Director; Anna Rapp, Jennifer Hardwick, and Jacqueline Schools of our RISC team – and I – greeted interested attendees who passed by our OSAC booth.
Cyber security is on the forefront of current ASIS president Eduard Emde's to-do list, and 2013 president Geoff Craighead plans to continue Emde's international efforts, as well as the industry's standard and certification requirements.
