Culture of Excellence at ASIS 2008

September 16, 2008

AlliedBarton Security Services, www.AlliedBarton.com, celebrated its culture of excellence at ASIS 2008, Booth #1735, at the Georgia World Congress Center, September 15-18th. The company's commitment to providing responsive local management, backed by national resources developed through more than 50 years of security services industry leadership, is the backbone of the company's culture.

"Our clients and prospective clients have confirmed what we've been focused on, and what we promise -- that AlliedBarton's local resources are responsive and are supported by national experience," Bill Whitmore, AlliedBarton's President and CEO, explained. "This commitment to our clients is the result of our strong corporate culture -- what we refer to as Dare to be GREAT!"

"This is a growing industry and we are a growing company. That, coupled with the fact that we are a personnel services business, makes having a strong corporate culture imperative. It is particularly important considering that our managers are located throughout the country, close to the clients they serve. We need to remain focused on common goals to ensure that we are all delivering the same quality service and staying true to our values."

AlliedBarton's corporate culture includes a focus on quality standards for security officers. "Focusing on a common set of standards helps us deliver consistent service," Whitmore said. "That, along with the programs and procedures that ensure these standards are met, and translate into quality security for our customers, is what differentiates AlliedBarton. Our core values of growth, responsibility, empowerment, achievement and trust keep us focused on what matters and enable us to provide much more than personnel. Our customers experience well-trained officers, market-specific security experience, dedicated and responsive management, and a comprehensive security program."

AlliedBarton's local response, national support service approach is being communicated in the company's new print advertising, literature and website. These marketing efforts are debuting at the 2008 ASIS show.

"ASIS is an excellent forum to showcase this approach and also communicate the results of our culture of excellence," Whitmore continued. "Our training and leadership development programs have again been recognized by leaders in those industries. These awards confirm that our focus and dedication in these areas has been well worth the combined efforts of our expert leaders throughout the company."

Earlier in 2008, AlliedBarton earned national recognition for its training programs for the third consecutive year on Training magazine's Top 125 list, and for its leadership development practices by the Corporate University Xchange and with an ASTD Excellence in Practice Award.

AlliedBarton Security Services is the industry's premier provider of highly trained security personnel to many industries including commercial real estate, higher education, healthcare, residential communities, chemical/petrochemical, government, manufacturing and distribution, financial, and shopping centers and malls. Responsive, customer-focused security officers and managers at our client sites are supported by award-winning national resources developed from over 50 years of security experience. Our more than 50,000 employees and 100 offices service a client base of several thousand which includes approximately 200 Fortune 500 companies across the country. AlliedBarton was the first security services company selected as one of Training magazine's Top 125 training companies for three consecutive years.
