The Transportation Security Administration is extending the face mask requirement for individuals across all transportation networks throughout the United States through January 18, 2022.

Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro N. Mayorkas to support the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) screening officer workforce, including expanding collective bargaining at the national level and ensuring that TSA’s standards and processes adhere to the principles applied by the Merit Systems Protection Board.  

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) will issue a directive later this week requiring all pipeline companies to report cybersecurity incidents to federal authorities. The directive comes two weeks after Colonial Pipeline, which operates the biggest gasoline conduit to the East Coast, was forced to shut down its 5,500-mile pipeline after a devastating ransomware attack.

 Transportation Security Administration (TSA) law enforcement and police departments from Connecticut, and New York recently partnered with the Connecticut State Police (CSP) to assess their ability to hunt and stop unauthorized drones from interfering with commercial aviation.
