The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) announced a six-month extension of the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Supply Chain Risk Management Task Force. The Task Force, chaired by CISA and the Information Technology (IT) and Communications Sector Coordinating Councils, is a public-private partnership composed of a diverse range of representatives from large and small private sector organizations charged with identifying challenges and devising workable solutions and recommendations for managing risks to the global ICT supply chain.

Sixty-three percent of government workers say they are worried that cyberattacks on candidates, political parties, and voting infrastructure will impact the integrity of the upcoming U.S. election, according to the Government & Election Cybersecurity Threat Index released by Morphisec, provider of Advanced Threat Prevention. In addition, more than 3-in-4 government workers (77%) believe that states and local governments need more federal funding to protect voting infrastructure better.

The report reviews the global research survey which investigates current issues, risks, and challenges with IaaS environments as well as the tools used to manage access and governance of those environments.
In addition, the report found that a large majority (74%) of companies use more than one IaaS provider, with some companies reporting using as many as seven and eight – which can lead to significant security issues.
