A tech industry education program is being offered by Virginia Commonwealth University and the Institute of Data. The program is targeted towards adults and nontraditional learners.
The collaboration aims to bridge the gap between traditional academic education and industry-specific skills training. The program is designed to offer noncredit bootcamps led by security leaders.
Bootcamps will be tailored to meet the needs of the industry. Full-time and part-time bootcamps that range from 12 to 24 weeks cover topics such as software engineering, data analytics, artificial intelligence and cybersecurity.
