Each year, Little League Baseball hosts a World Series event for the players, their families and fans. This year, the tournament took place throughout August at the Little League Baseball headquarters in South Williamsport, Pennsylvania, attracting crowds of spectators and young athletes.

This year, the league expanded the tournament to allow two more teams from the United States and two more international teams to compete, bringing the total number of participating teams to 20. The addition of more players, coaches and their families reinforces the need for comprehensive safety and security measures during the event.

Little League has leveraged a variety of security technologies throughout the years to enhance its surveillance plans. These include thermal, panoramic, PTZ, fixed box and fixed dome network cameras from Axis Communications, as well as Axis’ radar technology and perimeter detection analytics. New for this year, Little League will also be using multi-sensor cameras to enable better overall site coverage.
