Faith Roy named Deputy CISO at US Department of Veterans Affairs

Faith Roy has been named Deputy Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).
Roy brings years of information technology (IT) project management experience to the role. She most recently held the Chief of Staff position at the Department of Veterans Affairs. She joined the Department of Veterans Affairs as a Lead Program Analyst in 2011, working for over a decade in IT programming and portfolio management, according to a statement on LinkedIn.
Prior to her VA experience, Roy held the Senior Program Analyst role at the U.S. State Department and worked in IT and network provisioning across industries including e-commerce and telecommunications.
