Dustin Glover has been named the first Chief Cyber Officer (CCO) for the State of Louisiana, an appointment that followed the introduction of the Chief Cyber Officer position in New York last month. According to a statement on LinkedIn, Glover will focus on coordinating with state agencies on addressing cybersecurity risk.

Glover brings decades of safety and cybersecurity experience to the role, having most recently served for seven years as Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for the State of Louisiana. Prior to his state government work, he was the Information Security Officer for the Louisiana Workforce Commission and Information Security Director at Amedisys Home Health & Hospice.

Glover is a veteran of the Army National Guard and holds a CISSP certification.
