Guy Rosen, longtime Facebook leader and former VP of Product Management at Meta, has been named Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at the firm. Rosen will lead Meta's safety and integrity efforts, according to a statement on Linkedin.
Rosen joined Facebook in 2013 after the company's acquisition of Onavo, a web analytics firm that he co-founded and led as CEO. Prior to that, he held operational and analyst roles across security and software organizations.
According to Reuters, Rosen will be Meta's first CISO.
