Kirsten Provence has been named the Executive Director of Security Programs and Governance at Kaiser Permanente's National Security Services (NSS).

In her new role, Provence leads the team responsible for security programs including Prevention of Workplace Violence and Threat Management, Investigations, Loss Prevention and Security Awareness and Training. She is also responsible for the governance and quality improvement of security services.

Provence brings over 20 years of security expertise to Kaiser Permanente, having held the Senior Manager position of the Boeing Company's Supply Chain Security Program, as well as leading Boeing’s Security and Fire Protection (S&FP) Program. At Boeing, she led efforts in aviation security, program execution, organizational executive strategy and business operations.

Provence serves as the Vice Chair for the Overseas Security Advisory Council (OSAC)’s Women in Security Common Interest Committee and is a member of Security magazine’s Editorial Advisory Board. She has served as an Executive Committee Member for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS)'s Critical Manufacturing Sector Coordinating Council and as a Chairperson on the Supply Chain Risk Leadership Council. Provence has been the recipient of many security honors, including being named one of Security magazine's 2020 Most Influential People in Security.
