Rhonda Harris has been appointed as the new Assistant Vice President for Public Safety and Chief of Police at Florida State University (FSU).
Harris, an experienced higher education law enforcement leader, will oversee the FSU Police Department in her new role, which manages campus security and law enforcement, emergency management and transportation services on the Tallahassee campus.
Prior to joining FSU, Harris held campus safety leadership positions at many institutions, including Chief of Police at Rutgers University and Assistant Vice President of Public Safety and Chief of Police at Old Dominion University.
