93% of TSA employees in compliance with vaccine mandate
Transportation Security Administration (TSA) Spokesperson Lisa Farbstein announced that approximately 93% of all TSA employees are vaccinated against COVID-19.
These employees are in compliance with the federal mandate introduced by the Biden administration in September.
Around 4.2 million people are expected to travel by air this Thanksgiving, reflecting an increase from 2020 numbers. Farbstein noted that the upcoming holiday travel will not be impacted by the vaccine mandate.
