Six sports safety professionals have won Emerging Industry Leader Awards from the National Center for Spectator Sports Safety and Security (NCS4). The honorees have provided excellence in leadership and innovative additions to the sports safety and security landscape.
The 2021 NCS4 Emerging Industry Leaders include:
- Kory Dahlen: Director of Championships for the NCAA Southeastern Conference
- Zoe Irizarry: Manager, Safety and Security for Major League Soccer
- Michelle Juehring: Race Director, Quad-City Times Bix 7 (Marathon/Endurance)
- Melissa Lesperance, CSSP: Director, District Command Center of Olympia Development of Michigan (MLB)
- Sarah Mathis: Director of Fan Experience for the Jacksonville Jaguars (NFL)
- Dena Scott: Director of Athletics, Fort Bend Independent School District
Award winners will be honored at the 12th annual NCS4 Conference and Exhibition, taking place from November 9-10 in Phoenix, Arizona.
