New security measures have been installed at the Ryan McBride Brandywell Stadium in Northern Ireland. The stadium is a soccer field, along with adjoining greyhound racing. During the COVID-19 pandemic, fans have been unable to attend games at the stadium due to restrictions, and some fans have resorted to climbing the walls to watch the games.

In an effort to protect the safety of these fans, metal spikes have been placed on top of the walls of the stadium. The city recently asked people not to climb on the walls due to safety concerns, but it appears metal spikes were added as a last resort.
