Wrigley Field, home of the MLB's Chicago Cubs, has implemented new touchless security screening to greet fans and ticketholders ahead of its opening day for the 2021 season.

The stadium is the latest event and entertainment venue to implement Evolv Technology's "AI-based touchless screening system." The screening devices can find larger pieces of metal such as weapons and other banned items as visitors walk through. When the screening system detects something, it takes a photo and security staff will take the visitor aside for further screening.

These security devices are the same ones being used at Sloan Park in Mesa, Arizona.
