The Girl Scouts of Montana and Wyoming (GSMW) organization is providing opportunities for kids to expand their passion for computers, tech and science and earn badges on cybersecurity. Troop members can learn about and earn badges for Cybersecurity Basics, Cybersecurity Safeguards and Cybersecurity Investigator.

GSMW’s latest opportunity for girls in grades 9-12 is GirlSCOUTS Go CyberStart. The program they are offering is through a partnership with CyberStart America. Registration is open now for GirlSCOUTS Go CyberStart. The program allows girls to complete challenges, solve cyber puzzles and compete to earn scholarships and prizes. Through the program, kids resolve real-world cyber-attacks and learn how cybersecurity experts play a vital role in protecting hospitals, banks, army and police services.

GSMW also offers cybersecurity programs for every level of Girl Scout starting at Kindergarten.
