Baltimore County Schools said schools will be closed for students through at least Tuesday, December 1, as a result of the ransomware cyberattack that forced schools to close last week.
“Due to the recent ransomware attack, Baltimore County Public Schools will be closed for students on Monday, November 30, and Tuesday, December 1. BCPS offices will be open and staff will receive additional information about Monday and Tuesday,” the school system tweeted.
The schools will use these days to set staff up with a remote instructional platform and communicate the next steps regarding devices needed to continue schooling.
