Security industry veteran Jerome Pickett has been hired by biometric identification company Clear. Beginning in January, Pickett will assume the role of Senior Vice President and General Manager of sports and entertainment at Clear

Most recently Pickett served as the NBA’s Executive Vice President and Chief Security Officer (CSO), lead the organization's sports and entertainment division. Pickett had responsibility for the NBA’s coronavirus protocols that led to the league’s bubble in Orlando, Fla. earlier this year. Prior to the NBA, he spent 16 years with the U.S. Secret Service, where he spearheaded investigations of cyber crimes. 

Clear’s biometric check-in locations are in airports and sporting venues around the globe.
