Romania has won the 2019 European Cyber Security Challenge, a yearly event that brings together young talent from across Europe to compete in cybersecurity.

This year, the event was held in Bucharest, Romania at the Parliament Palace, from October 9 and October 11. Contestants were challenged in solving security related tasks from domains, such as internet security, mobile security, crypto puzzles, reverse engineering and forensics.
