A new poll from Wisconsin Professional Police Association (WPPA) reveals views on a range of topics, legalizing marijuana, police shootings, gun control laws and guns in schools.

When asked, "Do you favor or oppose teachers carrying guns in schools?," 39% said favor while 57% opposed. More women than men were against it.

Another question asked, "When law enforcement officers use deadly force, how much of the time do you believe it is necessary and justified? 45% said "always" or "most of the time" which is down from 54% last year.

When asked, "Do you think police officers should treat people addicted to opioids as criminal offenders of persons in need of care and treatment?" 77% said care and treatment.
