The Senate passed a bill that limits airline security fees.
H.R. 5462 was passed through a unanimous consent agreement. The bill revises passenger airline security fee requirements to limit per round trip fees to $11.20.
The Senate also passed the Honor Flight Act, H.R. 4812, which would direct the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) to establish an expedited passenger screening process for veterans traveling on an Honor Flight Network private charter to visit war memorials.
The House passed both bills this summer, meaning they now head to Barack Obama’s desk for his signature before becoming law.
