Can I Bring My ___? TSA Adds App Search Function for Banned Items

The Transportation Security Administration is upgrading its mobile application home page, adding a search function in hope of making it easier for travelers to identify what they can and cannot bring onboard aircraft, FCW reports.
The “Can I Bring My ___” function of the MyTSA app searches more than 3,500 specific items in the database, many of which were suggested by passengers.
There are a few search stipulations, though – users should eliminate qualifiers (“my daughter’s medication” vs. “medication”) and ensure that item names are typed correctly.
