The Loss Prevention Foundation (LPF) announces its newest program that will connect major retailers with LPQualified (LPQ) designees fresh out of college. The program called the Academic and Retail Partnership Program is a more targeted approach to fulfilling the mission of advancing the loss prevention profession by connecting people who have chosen loss prevention as a career with major retailers.
Connecting these two groups creates career opportunities for these LPQ college graduates and provides valuable, quality candidates with strong retail foundations at retailers' doorsteps.
The LPF has engaged Catherine Penizotto of OPTIC Loss Prevention as Academic and Retail Partnerships Liaison. Penizotto, who has many years of loss prevention experience with retailers such as Sears Holdings, Penn Traffic and Pep Boys, will work with the LPF to develop and implement the program targeting these two groups.
