After a failed terrorism plot in October, where bombs were shipped through UPS cargo planes, the company is making changes, and it comes during the busiest shipping time of year. The change: every time you want to ship a package, you will need identification.
UPS expects to deliver 430 million packages by Christmas, with 24 million packages alone on December 22. They promise though, that the ID checking will not slow things down. The new rules apply at every UPS location.
