A doctor has been shot at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland, says a CNN report. The shooter was "subdued and disarmed," according to a hospital spokesman.

 

Earlier, local media said the suspect was hiding in a patient's room on the eighth floor of the hospital.

 

CNN affiliate WMAR in Baltimore said the shooter had barricaded himself. It's unclear if the shooter was alone in the room. Reports indicate the wounded doctor is in critical condition. Many people were evacuated, according to reports.
