Former U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Michael Chertoff will address the SIA Government Summit in June.
Chertoff served as the head of DHS from 2005 to 2009. In that capacity, he was the Bush administration’s point man in protecting the United States against a terrorist attack. He previously served as a judge on the U.S. Third Circuit Court of Appeals and as a federal prosecutor. He is the co-founder and managing principal of The Chertoff Group, a consulting agency that specializes in risk prevention, crisis management and post-crisis recovery.
The SIA Government Summit will be held June 8-9 at the Embassy Suites Washington Convention Center Hotel in Washington, D.C. Chertoff and other experts from federal agencies and congressional offices will deliver presentations about biosecurity, identity management, stimulus spending, procurement and more.
