Loss-prevention software for Glendale, Calif.-based One-Step Data Inc.’s Retail Pro for the first time synchronizes POS information with digital surveillance video output, frame-by-frame, to easily locate theft, shoplifting, and shrinkage. The software addition, Remote Manager IP, provides a POS monitoring application that generates digitally synchronized messages from each workstation, including keystrokes, scans and video, then displays them in a variety of asset protection formats.
