There’s better protection on lingerie thanks to Grupo Cortefiel and ADT. The team has successfully set up a source tagging program for the Women’Secret lingerie chain. All items are now protected throughout the supply chain, from the manufacturing and distribution centers through to sales outlets in Spain and worldwide. In addition, Sensormatic anti-theft systems, incorporating Ultra•Max acousto-magnetic technology, have been installed in 280 Women’Secret stores.
After a successful initial implementation phase, in which 50 percent of garments were tagged, Grupo Cortefiel gradually extended the program to include all items of its lingerie brand. All merchandise now reaches the point of sale protected and ready to be sold. This means that lingerie, corsetry and other items no longer need to be tagged in-store, which minimizes the risk of garments becoming damaged and leaves staff free to concentrate on serving customers.
