James Weston became Director, Global Security Liaison & IDL Security Advisor in the McDonald's Corporation on May 28, 2024. He works closely with the McDonald’s Segment Business Unit leads in providing security advise and strategy, as well as developing and enriching relationships with Embassies, law enforcement officials, and private sector counterparts to enable fast detection and response to emerging risks. Prior to McDonald's James served as Deputy Executive Director for the Secretary of State’s Overseas Security Advisory Council (OSAC) in the Diplomatic Security Service. He was named one of the Most Influential People in Security by Security Magazine in 2016.
