Dean C. Alexander, J.D., LL.M. is Director of Homeland Security Research Program and Professor, Homeland Security at the School of Law Enforcement and Justice Administration, Western Illinois University. Alexander has lectured on terrorism in the U.S. and abroad, including at the National Intelligence University, Illinois Statewide Terrorism and Intelligence Center, Oregon Fusion Center, Milwaukee Police Department, Michigan State Police, and McAllen Police Department, among others. He has published several books on terrorism on topics such as ISIS, family terror networks, and terrorism and business. He has been interviewed by domestic and international media, such as the Washington Post, CNN, and NHK, on a variety of terrorism subjects.
