The International Association of Behaviour Detection & Analysis aims to advance standards and best practices

September 23, 2020

The International Association of Behaviour Detection & Analysis (IABDA) will be formally launched at the closing ceremony of Behavioural Analysis Week Online 2020. The Behavioural Analysis week is a four-day virtual event October 5-8 . In it’s third year, the event was previously held in Cardiff, U.K. and Minneapolis.

The International Association of Behaviour Detection & Analysis has been formed to create a professional body to recognize and advance standards in the industry. As a non-profit organization, the IABDA is supported by panels of experts from both academic and operational fields with the aim of supporting agencies, corporations and individuals in a previously unregulated industry.

All delegates to Behavioural Analysis Week Online 2020 will be offered one year's free membership to the IABDA. The idea behind IABDA is to form a group of sufficiently trained professionals that can identify themselves as Behavioural Detection Officers and reduce and mitigate risk in their organizations.
