Thieves walk with more than 1M Yen after Japanese Ninja Museum heist

A ninja museum has been raided in Japan, with thieves making off with more than a million yen (close to $10,000 USD).

The Iga-ryu Ninja Museum in central Japan, which is dedicated to the history of the famous Iga clan of ninja is a popular tourist destination. Earlier this week, police were called to the location after an alarm was off at 1:30 AM local time. Responding officers found the office door had been forced with what is thought to be a crowbar and a safe was missing. The safe contained money from admission fees from around 1,100 people, according to the museum.

According to CNN, the museum's security cameras showed a car pulling up to the building on the night of the robbery, and a man climbing out of the passenger seat. He walked toward the camera, and tilted it down so it only filmed the ground for the rest of the night.
