Uniquely Links Credentials to Smartphones

Vicon’s VAX Access Control solution now includes mobile credentialing, enabling users to present their smartphones at Bluetooth-enabled VAX door readers instead of cards or fobs. Multiple credentials can be accommodated, and no additional activation steps – such as entry of personal information or Bluetooth linking – are required. Credentials are uniquely linked to each device and cannot be shared or installed across multiple devices. Strong AES encryption, combined with smartphone PINs or biometrics, make the mobile credentials even more secure.
