Unusual Motion Detection (UMD) Technology

Avigilon’s Unusual Motion Detection (UMD) technology is available in its upcoming Avigilon Control Center 6.8 video management software. UMD is an artificial intelligence technology that is able to continuously learn what typical activity in a scene looks like, and then detect and flag unusual motion, allowing operators to search through large amounts of footage faster, helping to reduce hours of work to minutes.
