This upgraded, software-only Automatic License Plate Recognition (ALPR) solution includes high-definition capabilities, processing all images in full color instead of black and white. With these enhancements, more data can be captured from video than before, enabling the software to identify characteristics like vehicle color, make and model, in addition to reading license plate numbers and state jurisdictions.
